Hey!

Coming from a c / c++ background i'm a bit paranoid with non static typing language

I was wondering how you handle it in GM:
*add type info to the name variable (intMyAge,tabWeapons,...)
*add type checking function
Code:
DisplayTable = function( t )
{
    ASSERT( typeName(t)=="table") );
    //...
}

*nothing, type error are rares

generally nothing here, though any native bound functions are type checked. as you say type errors don't come up that often in my experience
